Gravesham 8Ball

Paul Waterman

A simple update on the arrangements for Paul Waterman should you wish to attend. There will be many familiar faces paying their respects.

Paul single handedly was involved in the running of the league during his tenure as both secretary and organiser. A player who started at the Bat & Ball A and continued at the Painters Ash A until he sadly passes away on Friday 15th March 2024. He was just 60 and was out playing his beloved game only the night before.

He will be sadly missed by those that knew him well, enjoying his company, sense of humour and generosity.

The venue is The London Crematorium

Friday 3rd May 2024 at 2pm. His immediate family will be in attendance. The subsequent respects will take place at: Painters Ash Gravesend following the service.

About the Gravesham Pool League

Gravesham Pool League is a Kent County Pool Association (KCPA) and English Pool Association (EPA) registered league.

Each team is registered through a public house/club situated in the borough of Gravesham, or adjoining postcodes. League & Team Knockout cup matches are played on a Wednesday night. Each team is made up of a minimum of 6 players, with each match consisting of 16 frames of pool.

The Committee is dedicated to the continued improvement of the Gravesham Pool League and to develop a top-class structured environment for the game of 8 Ball Pool. Our on-going aim is to be one of the best-run Leagues in England, setting the standard by which other Leagues can aspire to.
